Imam Reza (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever makes the day of Ashura a day of his calamity and weeping, God will make the Day of Judgment a day of his joy and happiness.”
In continuation of the Hussaini mourning assemblies during the first ten days of the sacred month of Muharram, which are held every night at Maghrib call to prayer at the Imam Ali (peace be upon him) Foundation in Bucharest, special ceremonies for the blessed day of Ashura will be held on Sunday, July 6th, according to the following program:
- Ziyarat (visitation), recitation of martyrdom accounts, and Hussaini
- mourning – from 11 AM
- Congregational Ashura noon prayer – at the call to prayer (Azan)
- Mourning assembly for Pakistani Shia brothers
- Food service (mourning feast)
Similarly, the evening assembly for the strangers of the martyrs of holy Karbala will also be held at the foundation at Maghrib call to prayer, as in previous nights.
