As part of the ongoing production and publication of cultural and religious works by the Imam Ali (a.s.) Cultural Foundation of Bucharest, the book “The Ship of Salvation” — the new Persian-language work by Seyyed Hamid Hosseini — has been printed in physical form in addition to its online edition, and made available to those interested.
The translation of this book is currently underway simultaneously into four languages — Arabic, English, Romanian, and Urdu — and, God willing, will be published upon completion.
Salvation is one of the most fundamental concepts that everyone seeks and that various schools of thought claim to offer; yet few truly reflect on what it is and the path to attaining it. This book seeks, from a Quranic perspective, to re-examine this decisive concept and the process of reaching it, and thereby to shed light on the secret of the Prophetic hadith describing Imam Hussein (a.s.) as the “Ship of Salvation.”
